Preventing battery drains

I've got a slow drain that I've been unable to isolate.

Going to not use the truck for a few weeks, which battery cables should I disconnect?

a) both negative cables, leaving positive connected

b) both positive cables, leaving negative connected

c) all 4 cables, neg and pos.

d) other?

You can drop just the ground cables off the posts and it'll be fine.

I had a battery drain (batts would only last a week at the most) that turned out to be the alternator was shorting. I found it by accident. I just happened to have touched the alternator after the truck sat over night when it was really cold out and the alternator was warm. Replaced the alternator and and haven't had anymore issues.
