2000 F250 code P0720 Help
Hello guys. I have been having a problem with my 2000 F250 7.3 crew cab truck. I keep getting the flashing O/d light on the shifter and the truck seems to be starting in second when it happens. Only code I get is P0720. I have read a few other threads over the last 2 or 3 weeks. Have tried a few things to fix it. Nothing has seemed to help yet and I keep seem to be dumping money into a pit.
What I've tried:
Clean wire harness connections on trans.
Replace Oss
Replaced the Alternator
Checked Wire connections
I'm not sure what else to do beside look for another harness. Truck runs and shifts great when it not acting up. Doesn't always do it or it can do it every stop. I manually shift 1,2,D then it fine. Trying to not drive it. I'm making a monthly payment on a truck that just sitting sucks.
