I have a strange vibration that happens around 690 rpm, so when idling I hear it but not when out on the highway. There is no white or black smoke or missing coolant. I have though it was something rubbing on the exhaust but traced it back to tailpipe but didn’t find anything.
I get a similar vibration at that rpm too. I thought it was the turbo spooling at low rpm's but when I pushed against my tailpipe and the vibration stopped.
I too, don't here or feel any vibration while driving.
You might work back from the tailpipe under the truck to validate it's not the exhaust system.
No stock it is a stock exhaust . When I do push down on it from the tail pipe it stops but it has been getting louder at idle. Thanks Cheezit , everyone. Could you recommend a dealer in Houston ?
Ok what I think is happening is the exhaust is rubbing on the B&W hitch underneath the bed. I think the exhaust rubber isolator is worn out so I need the part number to the very last exhaust hanger assembly. This is the part that has the rubber isolator in the metal bracket, thanks.
