Fuel filters

I see that Diesel filters online has prime guard fuel filters now. How are they or are they a no no?

The aftermarket filters just don't have the same shape and sealing ability

Stick with these. Racor filters/ motorcraft or IH are the ones you want.

I know the price is tempting, but saving a couple bucks on a filter for a $2k set of injectors isn't a gamble I'm interested in. The OEM fit, water barrier, bleed hole and filter medium are important to proper operation and life of the fuel system. Often with the knock-off stuff they make slight changes to avoid patent issues and reduce production costs.
