AMP auto running board

Just asking how to keep mud of the boards? I have installed mud flaps but that didn't work. Any input would be nice

Are you concerned that the mud will damage the mechanisms? A small amount of hose water on the moving joints, followed by a touch of spray lube is all you need to keep them happy and functioning.

If you're just being picky about their overall cleanliness, then you're on your own. My power steps only getting grimy on the front most foot or so, never back by my foot position for the front door.

i've noticed this with my factory power steps. From mud to slush and snow making it the whole length of the boards. I have mud flaps but did not make a difference.

I could sell our home and move back to town on pavement and get off the muddy roads.
I did say any input. I will assume this is the nature of the beast. Thanks

Do the power steps collect more dirt than the ones that don't move?

I honestly don't see how you can stop this from happening. The only thing I can suggest is a bigger mudflap (which would end up looking ugly).
