I have ordered from them recently. The package had paper stuffed in it. So far the only problem that I had was receiving the wrong part. The part number was correct, but wrong part in the box. They sent me replacement without any questions. I just wish that the shipping was better(Or free).
After I finished carrying my route yesterday, I was asked to go back out and carry some packages on my neighboring routes. I delivered a priority package that was crushed on one side and immediately thought of this thread.
One thing that has to be considered here: The package volume this year is the highest for all three shippers since 2008. All three shippers have scaled back their payrolls to varying degrees to adjust and are now adjusting to the new higher volume. Kind of a knee jerk reaction. I'm the trainer for my station and I've been busy training.
99.9% of these damaged packages arrive at the delivery units already damaged. There have been some carriers caught on video mistreating a package and they should be dealt with swiftly and severely.
We have used Rock Auto many times for our auto parts and resto business...they are constantly sending the wrong items and not to mention that they have numerous warehouses around the country and ding you on shipping from each location.
