speedoweter isues

my 99 f-350 speedometer works fine up to 38 mph. then stops. when I get up to 70 and higher it starts going down tell it hits 0 at 80mph. I have replaced the rear differential sensor but no change. any advice?

It is most likely the speedo itself.
