So I went out to start my 2000 expy, wouldn't start. Strong battery, turned over great but no start. Called AAA to haul it to my local mech, while waiting for tow I searched this forum for the same problem. Found several hints and fixes, but nothing I could do at this time, EXCEPT there were a couple of hints about locking-unlocking doors with the fob while trying. Nothing to lose, so I tried that, using the fob and it WORKED. Started right up, no hesitation. My question is why does this happen and will it progress further leaving me stranded. Is there a permanant fix? Thanks to you guys for all these hints for us non-mechanics.
