back for more.....55 f100 originally straight 6. Now has a 292 from an early 60s f100.
Radiator has a small leak (bigger when warm). Looking at replacement options.
The current radiator is stock style with top hose center and bottom hose on driver side.
I may be replacing the 292 within a year or so, but not sure what with yet.....302, 351 most likely candidates. Will likely also add power steering and a/c eventualy.
From those with experience, what radiator configuration has the best hope of working (without too much hassle) in those situations? Am I crazy for trying to plan ahead?
Any thoughts on sources also appreciated.... Been looking at midfifty's options.
Find a radiator repair shop and see if they can repair it. You'd be amazed at what they can fix sometimes. You gotta remove it either way......give it a shot. Will save you $$$.
