Alright guys here's the rundown.
It'll started with trying to get 4wd working and is ending up as completely SCREWED.
2006 6.0 King Ranch.
Had battery light come on last week, batts are 3 months old interstate Commerical version (Megatrons were giving me troubles). So, check Alt came back bad (a 140amp I picked up). Had a 110 that was on the truck I thought was giving me troubles, but when tested twice at two different shops has come back good.
Install the 110 that I thought was junk. Truck fires up, low idle wasn't enough to get ALT to charge (I have an Edge Evolution CS) rev'd the truck up (it was cold 0 - -5 in MN that night. Truck just dies as it was settling down in RMPs from being rev'd. NOTHING after that cranking NO START since.
I started reading up (BTW thanks guys! tons of info). Coming to 3 conclusions:
1: ICP
2:HPOP
3:IPR
Set my Edge to monitor
ICP: 58 now hitting 180
ICPv: .3
IPW: 0
While, just looking at things I noticed my Degas bottle looked a little funny, this is where I got SCARED I found what I would guess is OIL (black Sludge) in the bottle. Bottle is currently out and trying to clean it out.

HELP Please!

Well while you are in there changing the oil cooler ( the likely source of the oil in the coolant ) you can install the updated standpipes, dummy plugs and STC fitting. The standpipes, dummy plugs and STC fitting should take care of your low ICP and the no start. After you replace the oil cooler you will need to flush the system with something like simple green to get all of the oil out of the cooling system.
Be aware that black sludge in the bottom might not be oil. Oil floats and also the water pump will mix the oil with the water and turn it into a "pudding" consistency. Sometimes combustion gasses can put a lot of carbon into the coolant.

Well, not much for coolant was left in the bottle. Hard to tell if it's floating or not.

Could it be diesel fuel? ... it feels oily/greasy. Not trying to talk you out of it being an oil cooler problem, but the water pump is VERY efficient at turning oil into the pudding material (some say it looks like a chocolate shake). Also, is any of the sludge magnetic?

This was BLACK! Greasy left remains on my hand after running water over it.
