I just took both doors off last month and do remember the driver electrical a being trickier. I think the connector is up forward of the big aluminium dash support but kind of hidden by it. It's definitely under that kick panel just not as obvious. And the positioning makes it a pain to get the connector separated.
...and I could go for those mirrors! I'm rebuilding my doors now and was planning on reusing my 200k mile f250 power mirrors. These should bolt right up and look the same - just be (presumably) newer, right?
Nice! I'll probably have to do some hunting for doors myself. Window motor or the regulator is f'ed and the metal holding the door latch sheared off. Rear door locks don't work, but that's cheaper and easier than replacing the door internals.

Your best bet is to pull all the wiring out of your existing door, then feed it back into the door you are putting on. Part of the wiring harness goes from the driver side door to the passenger side door behind the dash, right under the windshield, and there are no plugs. To get that out you have to pull the dash.
