My 96 f 250 has issues with shutting down when it wants to. garage told me there is 6 bad spots in the wiring harness. trying to locate the harness from firewall to motor

You can try through here but might have to fill out a form and wait being it's a few years older than a lot of the salvage stuff.

Otherwise if you want new it would probably be a dealer only but after 10yrs a lot gets discontinued.
