Dash panel seal

Ok I've been working on a no heat problem for days, I have hot hoses and hot heater core yet no heat to cab, when I had the complete heater core housing off the truck, I noticed that there is no dash panel seal! I made a cardboard gasket to put between the core housing and the firewall. I still have no heat to cab! Is Not having the original seal causing me to have no heat to cab? Is it sucking air somewhere due to not having the correct seal between the heater case and firewall? I have new radiator new hoses new thermostat new heater core and hoses, I see no reason not to have heat to cab.

The way you have been describing this problem - "I have no heat" - isn't helping anybody help you figure it out.

It's been stated probably many times in your other thread - it's either a coolant temperature problem, a coolant flow problem, or an air flow problem. People gave you various things to look at and test but your responses have been incomplete and less than helpful.

If the heater core gets hot, there is a pretty good chance you have adequate coolant temperature and flow.

Next will be air flow... do you have plentiful air output from the defrost and floor registers? Or, not? Do the dash controls actually perform their jobs? Those control cables have been known to break. You never said anything to this and giving a vague, general description of "I have no heat" just pisses people off.... is there plentiful air flow but it's just cold? Presumably not but you're leaving it up to the reader's imagination.

I told you before - look at your HVAC plenum ducting - are the flaps flapping correctly, is everything sealed up like it should be (*ding* *ding* *ding* sounds like maybe your problem is here?) and is the blower motor in fact turning like it should, is it turning in the correct direction, is the squirrel fan in fact installed correctly and working, etc. etc. etc.

Coming here and repeatedly giving only vague descriptions when people try to give you pointers on explicit things to look at isn't helping you....
