With my Clifford valve cover and DP intake, along with a QJ (or an autolite 4100) it makes it nearly impossible to adjust the idle mixture screws. So I'm sending for a Offy C.
I was wondering if it is possible to coat the inside with something. I've read of problems with the new castings.
A rough surface that far from the valve won't do anything but help keep fuel from condensing/puddling.
I've never seen a coating place that does inside, they can't apply the coating evenly enough. Dunno if coating the outside would do anything other than being easy to clean or looking fancy.
BVA--It was just an idea in case I got a poor casting.
Since I'm getting new Harland Sharpe rollers, I'd like to sell my Crane Gold Race roller rockers. They are 1.7 ratio. I ran them for a short time and the improvement in performance was noticeable. I thought I needed p.rod guide plates so I took them off.
I'll be cleaning out the inside of my intake as best as possible as I will be using a port injection setup.
You ought to post some photos of the system and some documentation or plans. I'm sure other members of the forum would love to see and read about it. Good luck.

Everything I am doing to both my engine and my truck will be very well documented. I'm even hoping to convince the machine shop to let me film inside their shop.
