PCV Valve

Anyone replaced the one behind the EGR/Throttle body?
I seen one on ProDemand that said there was one there and
O'Reilly's tried to sell it to me. It is a thread in type. I already replaced the one in the valve cover. Trying to fix a oil burn prob. Quart every 500 miles or so. Truck has 105,xxx F-350 in sig. Pic is what the thread in one looks like.
Thanks,
Blaine

That's what I thought, but all the part stores show it and I seen it on ProDemand as my truck having it. Ill try and find a pic showing it.

Your PCV valve should be located back right side in rocker cover.
None of the locations in ProDemand is right.
That does look like the right part, sorry I did not look closer ta the engine.

I replaced that one already but I still burn oil at a pretty fast rate. Maybe 1 quart 400-500 miles. only has 105,000 and does NOT smoke and passed the sniffer with flying colors.

That is the only PCV valve that you have.

What do you think could be causing the excessive oil consumption. Motor doesn't feel tired at all. Plenty of power

Could be bad valve seals.
If not that it would have to be rings.
The PCV system has nothing to do with the amount of oil a engine burns. The system just takes what ever bypasses the rings back into the intake.
