I received my DC order this afternoon, so it's time to fix the gauges. Any tips or best practices removing the old ICVR? I am hoping not to have to replace the circuit "board".

I don't think I understand your question but, I took two of those clusters apart this weekend and the circuit portion was relatively easy to remove. Neither printed circuits were damaged in the process.
Remove the small screw pictured in your photo. That is the only place it is actually hard mounted. the rest of the printed board is just pressed over plastic pins. Just be gentle and it will come right up.
Pretty easy upgrade huh? I did the switch last weekend. I actually removed the full gauge cluster and went to the one with the idiot lights. I have a nice set of triple gauges and the new wiring harness did not support the ammeter anyways. Good job, your cluster looks brand new!
