sensor missing?

Hey guys..
In the process of doing radiator flush...
removed starter and drain plugs and above the starter is a large 2 prong sensor housing of some sort. Is this the oil block heater plug or am I missing a sensor.
Thank u for your time...

Sounds like the engine block heater.

It's the block heater, it heats the coolant. A cable gets screwed in there, and the other end plugs into a 110 outlet. (extension cord actually)

Alot of FL trucks are missing the cable.

If you want one in case you visit the great white North...
