Help needed for new member

I have 04 Expedition EB.
After making the mistake of trying to degrease the motor like i would normally do, i had a bad miss, turned out to be Cyl 7 so I put new coil on it.
now I have (After my wash) advance trac and ABS light on the dash, Was not on before that.

I have searched Google, this site, several other sites related to Expeditions, no answers.

I have also seen a hard plastic line that appears to go no where. I took a photo and hope someone can Identify it.

Please help Identify what this line is and where its connected. I see no other lines that are not connected somewhere

I just picked up the same rig as you, and also have the same line to no where. I don't know what that open ended line is. Vent line of some sort? Looks to come from loom that has tubing going to vacuum pump on passenger fender??

EDIT: Attached post from F150 sticky section. At end of post 1 is drawing of IWE (integrated wheel end) vacuum lines. I'm thinking the tubes are the IWE actuator vent tubes.

I appreciate the response. I was hoping to get a few replies, I see your listed as an elder member, how active is this forum?
I agree it could be a vent this is good. I can test that. activate 4x4 and de-activate 4x4 see if I get a pressure from it.

I need some help with my rig. I have the ABS / Advtrac indicators on and traction control is disabled. my 4x4 does not flash and will engage (tested this function)

Also do you have the navi system? when you get in the truck is your system at a low volume like its muted when you turn it up?

If you can find someone with a scan tool that can read c (chassis) codes that would make the diagnosis process much easier.

My rig does not have the advance trac or navi system. Normal stereo volume at start up. If rear controls are enabled(headphone icon) pushing the speaker/headphone control toggles to "dual play" and rear speakers are muted.

Sounds like when washing, water got into sensor or solenoid for ABS and Advance trac. I believe the two work together, and probably is going to take a code reader to sort out. A lot of guys in the 7.3 section are using an app for android called Torque Pro and a bluetooth OBDII adapter. I believe both app and adapter are pretty inexpensive. Good luck.

I too am using that app and adapter. its a bluetooth ELM327 adapter from amazon for about 15.00 and the torque pro is about 5.00 on android.
I have not been able to read the ABS codes from it I think there was a way to use a laptop with Windows to do so but still havent figured that out yet.

I get in and when the rear speakers are not muted, the front speaker (which BTW is the only one working) is at a very low volume until I enable dual play then it appears to be full volume.. I was wondering if this is a common problem, as I have searched google for countless hours since my purchase I dont think it is, I think Im in a unique situation. That sucks... I dont know where the amp is located, I tore the dash apart looked under the radio I took out the trays in the back panels and found the amp for the sub, and the AC/Heat Blower assembly on the passenger side. I looked under the front and rear seats still no luck.. anyone know where it is???

as far as the ABS/Advtrac system is concerned.. I really dont like any functions not working on my rig. I would apprevciate if anyone in the Bristol / Philadelphia / NJ area could help me out..the vehicle drives well and there is no lack of power but I do not want to have continued issues.

Thanks
Bill
