vacuum line




what does this go to. i cant find it. the other end is connected to the back of the hub. like the vacuum line for the 4x4 shift on the fly thingamajig. everything looks like its together. no missing pieces. my 4x4 works just wondering what it goes to. thanks

If it comes off the IWE right next to the vaccum line for the 4x4, it is the vent line for the IWE. The two lines (vacuum & vent) are joined where they attach to the IWE. The way the picture is, I thought you were holding a broken line from the ABS contoller...

so does it not connect to anything. the way its pinned down it doesnt reach to anything. i followed the other line and everything is still plugged together.

Correct. Just a vent line on the opposite (outboard) side of the vacuum diapragm in the IWE. ...allows vacuum pressure to more easily actuate (or pull) the IWE gear teeth away from the hub gear teeth.
