Able to hold fan?
When it runs, if you can hold hold the fan blade when it runs does that mean the fan clutch is bad? 1993 f150 4.9 i6

Until it kicks in and cuts off a few fingers ! Never try to hold a fan clutch with the engine running .....

No that means the clutch is good, when cold the fan should spin freely by hand(engine off) and it will only tighten up when the engine starts to generate some heat.
