I keep blowing the fuse to the headlights. When low beam is on, the right blinker flashes the low lights. When high beam is on, the blinker works. when I turn on the low lights, my cluster light indicators show the right blinker dim and the high beam indicator light is also dim. Any ideas?
First, night help if you identify your truck..year and model...drl or autolamps?
Generally when you blow a fuse, there is one of two conditions occurring...
1) too much current
or
2) the power is being shorted to ground.
You say the lights are dim at certain times, i would then check for wires that are chaffed with bare spots that are shorting out. Check for any chaffed wires that pass through a sheet metal opening or against a metal body panel. I would start under the hood. I might also try isolating the headlight wiring that goes from under the hood to the headlamps.
