1316 means you have stored idm codes that you need to be able to read. UVCH could be bad on one or both sides. Do you have an ohm meter to check the harness?

Secure does not mean they are good. Do you know how old they might be? You need to get an ohm meter. You can go to "GB Remanufacturing" web site for all you need to know about checking the 7.3 UVCH. If I was getting the 1316 code that is where I would start first to make sure the harnesses are good.
P1316 indicates the IDM has codes stored. If you run a KOEO or injector buzz test, you'll get those codes. That's probably going to give the best clue as to what's really going on.

Your friends computer might be able to do it. Just depends on the software he has. Most people on this forum that read their own codes have Auto Enginuity software. If you don`t have access to that you could take it to a dealer. There also might be a forum member near you that be able to help.
Sorry been busy with work I haven't had time to work on the truck but is it possible for my problem to be the Heui or Hpop that's causing the problem ????

Without knowing what codes the IDM has stored, it would be nothing but a guess, honestly.
The P1316 code is the PCM telling you the IDM has codes stored. A generic scanner can't access those codes. A KOEO or injector buzz test will. Where are you located? Maybe someone is nearby who wouldn't mind running the test for you. If you have an Android device with bluetooth, and about 25 bucks, you can get a bluetooth OBD-II adapter and a couple of apps (Torque Pro and Car Gauge Pro) and have the capability of running the tests yourself. You'd also end up with a perfectly capable monitoring tool.
