Rear Axle Identification

My truck is a 47 half ton. But the axle on it is not a banjo.

Here is a picture:

There are numbers on each corner of the diff cover.

Top Left:
U S Patent
1 888 618
Bottom Left:
U.S. Patent
2 018 188
Bottom Right:
41
Top Right:
18423 and then also the number 5 was stamped at a perpendicular angle to those numbers.

On the Axle tube to the right of the pumpkin there are the numbers:

3 27 48

There is a tag attached to the cover bolts with the letter W and the number 43 over the number 11

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I'm just guessing but it's a little newer, the 48s came out with a rear loader like a Dana. Maybe the 41 is a Dana model 41??? Used through 56
