hello from nor cali
i have been around the form for a little bit now and just wanted to say hello and thank you guys for all the great info. A little bit about me i have had a few of the older ford trucks and have a 1988 crew cab 4x4 7.3 idi with a banks turbo and in the middle of doing a zf5 swap. hope to have it done here soon.

Little more about the truck I got it about a year ago I payed a little more than what is was worth probably but i have wanted one for a long time so I did. The truck has a first gen banks turbo on it, and had a us gear exhaust brake on it (ended up not working missing parts ) and gear vendor over drive. on it with a small leak from the c6 transmission about 6 months after I got it the c6 was leaking worse so I stopped driving it and start saving up money and looking for parts to do a zf5 swap and about a month ago I got all the parts I need to do the swap with and have been working on the swap slowly. And started fixing some of the thing that have been hacked over the year and fix all the small leaks and what not. hoping to have it done this week so I can start enjoying it some more.
