Electrical mystery

This one has me stumped....this is to do with my stop lights...all my tail lights work, 4 way flashers work, left and right turn signals work, when the brakes are applied, only the RIGHT STOP light will work...the left dont light up...check wiring on trailer hitch, along the frame no problems found...the left turn and 4 way flasher works, but no stop light left rear??? thoughts??

Turn signal switch comes to mind.... step on the brakes and wiggle the switch, see if both rear stop lamps light up.

So its something in the switch itself or in the wiring in the column?

The switch comes with a short pigtail harness.

Easy to troubleshoot a little first before you tear the column apart. Locate the brake switch on the pedal linkage. 2 connections going to it. One will be live at all times, the other will go live when you press the brake pedal. Easy to check with a test light. Make sure this is happening before you replace the turn signal switch.

Edit. Never mind. You do have at least 1 light working, so this must be OK. Carry on!
