How old is the battery? You wouldn't be the first person to have these symptoms on a late model vehicle that was caused by a weak/old battery, even though the engine seems to start fine.

Does it stall as soon as the transmission engages drive or reverse, or only as soon as you release the brake pedal and start to move?

Torque Converter Clutch (TCC) stuck in engaged position. Look for trouble codes. Most likely culprit TCC solenoid faulty. Rarely, mechanically bound-up clutch (in converter), hope for the former.

Like stopping a manual transmission car without releasing clutch. Kills engine. impish
