Did you replace your old visor due to the mount going bad?
If so I could use your old one
I need a part from inside to fix mine.
Its the steel spring clip that grips the mount shaft.
Any color will do since I just need the clip.
If you have an Ace hardware (or probably most any hardware store) nearby, you might find a clip that will fit for less than the cost of shipping for a visor.
I bought a pair of these for my 2004 Aviator and only used the one for my driver's side. I've since traded in Aviator but still have the passenger side visor mount. I don't suppose that's what you're looking for, is it?
Or is the part you're referring to a part inside the visor that provides friction to keep the visor in place, either against the headliner or in the open position?
Its this. Yes its inside the visor and grips the shaft. So if anyone has an old visor I could just pull it out and put it in mine. Its a job but it works.
