Starter question

After replacing both batteries, wiring harness and glow plugs the engine takes a long time to crank over. I also changed the cam sensor and the GPR. I think that the starter may be the problem. Has anyone bought the starter from Ebay? If so, how well do they work?

No not ebay but I did replace a starter new from advance on line for 125.00. First I replaced one battery it made no difference. All good now. The truck was cranking very slow.

Put a SD starter one, they crank faster. Only two bolts where ours has three but that's OK.

I got a cheapy SD one from BD Electrical. Boy did that thing crank fast compared to the old one... Of course the Chinese contacts in it died after a year, but I swapped in some old ones from a burned out starter and it works great again.
