Ford Cummins Swap
Hey guys this is my first post and I'm looking forward to learning some more about this! SO....I have a 1977 F-250 4x4 with the 460 cu in. V8 and it has the 4 speed manual. I also have a 1991 cummins intercooled with a NV4500 5 speed transmission. I want to put the cummins and 5 speed in the ford. I've looked at fordcummins and destroked. I have the 460 and the 4 speed transmission out, what would it take to put in the cummins and 5 speed? and how much would it all cost?

Wow i spend a while going through your build and im only halfway done and im blown away! fantastic work! but im looking to do a more simple job. I just want the most simple way to get my 12 valve and 5 speed connected. would i need a whole new transfer case? new driveshafts? i know ill have to do some tinkering with the transmission mount and engine crossmember.
