hey guys, today I went to my local audio shop and saw the stealth box that goes into the little cargo area in the way back of the passenger side of the truck. I loved the way it looked and need some bass. the problem is they wanted $500.00 bucks for 1 10" sub. I was wondering if anyone has made there own? or if there is plans or dimensions online? I looked but did not find any. any help would be great. thanks
YOu can get one one ebay for $200 or so. MTX Thunderform.
I have one and it works great. A speaker alone is at least $100 or so for a decent brand, so the extra cost is worth the time you save..
I used to design and build custom enclosures for a major electronics retail outlet, and I always built my own enclosures. Spend your money on the sub and amp and build you own. I suggest finding a sub you like, and then going to the manufactures website and looking for enclosure specs. A lot of them will show you plans online.
