replacing blend door actuator?
Hi
my truck decided once again to blow ice cold air instead of heat and that's no fun when it's -23 outside
I'm guessing it's the blend door actuator that is acting up, how hard is it to replace them actuators?

Hi Gerby. I have the exact same truck and problem. Did you replace the actuator yourself? I bought the part and will tackle it in a few days. I am still not sure if a fuse needs to be pulled after the reinstall for the recalibration to take place.

Easy job
Yep, sounds like the blend door actuator, mine started clicking when I started the truck so I replaced it before it went out. A bit tricky to get at one of the mounting bolts but definitely doable. Plenty of YouTube videos t look at to help you out. There are two or three actuators on the heat box, mine was the one under the radio/center console. Good luck.
