U Joint part numbers
I have a 1978 F-150 custom. It has the T-18, NP205 TC, and 9" rear end. It has 2 u-joints in the rear drive shaft. Can anyone tell me what part numbers to order? Rockauto has a lot of options and not many of the descriptions seem to match what I have. I do NOT have a CV joint, both are normal u-joints.
Looking for spicer or moog P/N's.
Thanks.
You probably have one of two common u-joints found it these trucks:
Spicer 1310 : Bearing cap diameter 1.063", width 3.218" Moog # 369
Spicer 1330 : Bearing cap diameter 1.063", width 3.622" Moog # 354
If you have a combination of both:
Spicer 1310 - Spicer 1330 combination, Moog # 353
Width is measured from the end of one cap to the end of the other cap.
If you don't have any of these, use the measurements to research what the right part is as you'll have all the information you need to determine the right one.
I really wish there was a site with the parts diagrams for these trucks. I'm spoiled with Realoem.com for BMW's. Heck, even John Deere will let you see the diagrams for their equipment online.

Save this link below and then come back often, or once you reply to it you will be auto subscribed and you will have easy access to it by using your UserCP. Or just save the pics in separate pic folders on your computer. That is what I did and still do and then I posted it all in this thread.

I have been saving for years, 99% from FTE members. mikeo0o0o0 and nubmerdummy have the ability to see what dealerships have what parts in stock. And they post the dealership name, ph#, and amount on hand.
