Has anyone used one of those Mosquito control things that use the propane tank?

We want something to cover at least an acre but don't know anyone who has one of these things. Naturally, we don't want to spend that kind of money if it's useless.

Do they all require electric? If so, then it won't work where we want to put it.

How well do they work?

What's a good brand to get?

Any info is much appreciated. Thanks.

They work great. Put it right in the center of the action as they cover a circle area. You could rent one first. Bug zappers are a waste of time.

I purchased a Skeeter Vac from Sam's club for 347.00, it works great in our backyard, I do not think it will cover an entire acre, but it does a great job on my large back yard.....The first month the bag was nearly full of them.................I believe it is made by blue rhino................. BTW it uses no electricity

I think Blue Rhino is the 'trade-in' (don't refill) propane tank company. Some require electricity, some cover 1 acre.
