what's the best way to get the driveline unstuck. I removed the bolts but she's really stuck on there. I used a rubber mallet but she wont move. I don't want to break anything so any suggestions would be appreciated.
Take a small hammer and LIGHTLY tap on the front yoke where it slides into the transmission. Those splines are probably fused together, and that will free it up some. As you know, the driveshaft has to slide forward slightly to release at the back end. Otherwise, just get a big pry bar or screwdriver and see if you can separate the rear U-joint from the yoke on the differential. Wrap some tape around the two exposed cups on the U-Joint so they don't fly off.
Please make sure the truck is securely supported or wheels blocked if on the ground.
There was a guy killed a few years ago in Martinsville, VA when he disconnected the driveshaft. The vehicle rolled of the ramps on to him.
Doc I should have mentioned it was a 9" ford rear and its stuck on the rear flange of the rear end. But I'll give it a try thank you.

Just to be clear, you are trying to separate driveshaft from rear yoke at the u-joint, right? Once the two cap straps are removed I've never had an issue separating them.
It sounds like this is a custom set up , Make sure there is room at the front yoke for the shaft to slide into the tail shaft . Or is this shaft bolted to a four speed at the transmission ? If so there could be no play in the shaft length , You may have to lift the frame up to take weight off the rear to give you wiggle room .
