Blend Door
Well I had a problem with the blend door not working and after inspection, the hinge did on fact break....I went to the hardware store and bought a small piano hinge and now have floor and defrost but very little to the vents or max a/c.... is the blend door replaceable or do you have to replace the whole housing?

Max A/C is the door over on the pass side under the glove box. It selects it either to suck air from around the wipers, or to draw air from the interior underneath the glove box.
If you are not getting very much air, your A/C coil inside the duct may be clogged. I just had to do another one the other day.
All the leaves, dirt, anything that can get down inside the cowl, goes right through the fan and then through the A/C coil. Of course you can guess where it stops and get's clogged. ALL the air for this system must go through the A/C coil. So when it gets clogged, your air volume will be very low.
These trucks have very good defrost and heat once you get the system unclogged.
