I have a 1966 F100 and want to replace the factory guages (alt, fuel, temp, oil) with aftermarket guages. I want to keep them in the same spots on the bezel. Any suggestions on the brand of guage i should use and where to get them? Will any fab work need to be done?
I'm not sure if they'd fit or not but the Auto Meter gauges are awesome.. Have had them in my '69 Camaro and now in my F100. Maybe their 2 1/16" gauges will work...
Dash is well made and the mounting screw holes lined up perfect. Essentially I wired my gauges up and screwed the dash in. Nothing more. I am going for the modified look on interior/engine bay and stock kinda on exterior. Eventually gonna put a Coyote motor in it and that would need the Autometer gauges so went ahead and spent the money and got em. Searched ebay for the cheapest price gauges. I saved some money doing it that way. About $410 for all gauges and $175 on panel. Hope this helps.
