I have a 390, 351, and 460 from this generation.. I was wondering, is it ok to idle these motors for like 30 minutes or is it bad for them?

i think a better question is why waste the fuel?
if it doesn't overheat and has good oil pressure, why would it be bad to idle for half an hour?

If OP is adequate (20 psi my preference, at least 10 psi), temp under control and carb/mixture set right should not be a problem... any more so than any other engine.

An idling truck is easier to steal than one that needs to be hot wired
