Windshield Washer Sprayer
Anyone ever do anything to upgrade the little steel sprayer hoses? It takes too many sprays to clean off the windshield. Instead of one spray that covers the entirety in front of driver or passenter, you have to keep spraying until the wipers get it all washed off from the middle outward.
The kid of a friend of mine bought some generic sprayers and zip tied them on. They work but look like crap. I just figured someone here got tired of it and did something to fix it the right way.

I'm not willing to drill any holes in my hood for the multi-sprayer heads..
But have thought about it a few times.

Take the jets off, soak 'em in white vinegar for several hours. They're probably clogged up with scale caused by using tap water instead of distilled water.
Also suggest replacing all the rubber hoses.

IIRC, there was some make/model out there with sprayers mounted on the wiper arms.
Be creative... swamp buggy racers rig up irrigation nozzles/sprayers. Make sure you have a pump and reservoir big enough to suit your needs.

Ha, I came across some of those aftermarket arm sprayers at the loco flea market for a $buck someone was selling.
Looked kind funky on a 87 Camaro, but did wet the full rang of the wiper arm. Did not leave them on their..

I found carefully bending the sprayer to aim properly helps as well as cleaning them out.

Mine aren't clogged. They spray like mad. I don't use water. I used windshield washer fluid.
I just don't like the single spray stream into the middle of the windshield.

81/91 Econolines had the sprayers in the arms. Those would be too long though. I could swear I've seen "clip on" sprayers somewhere. LOOKING.......

Has anyone ever tried squeezing the tip of the tube with pliers to make the spray fan out? (I'm going to let someone else do it first) ;-)

BINGO!
I knew I'd seen factory clip on washer nozzles in the past. Finally got a chance to pick up the search for them.

They clipped on to the wiper arm. I can't post Ford pics like Bill can. Once he catches this I'm sure he will for you.

Found one.... a 2000 Chevy Suburban (and likely its kin)
Here's a short, three-minute video:
The passenger side has three nozzles and the driver side wiper has two.
