I am looking to put in bucket seats in my 64 f100 I don't want the bench seat any more! I would like to find a seat that the back would not go higher than the bottom of the back glass. Does anyone have any ideas?
I have a 66 Ranger that I haven't started on that needs recovering and wonder whether the upholstery was available or custom.
They are standard (i.e. not the Pony) seat covers for a 1966 Mustang. You are probably looking at Parchment, Red or Black. Here's an example of the Parchment on eBay. I'm not suggesting anyone buy this set, just showing as an example of how readily available the seat covers are. Same for the seat foams. Luckily they reproduce almost everything for 1966 Mustangs so the covers and foams are widely available. You can buy just the front seat covers and foams since the Ranger trucks had no back seat like the Mustangs did.
Thanks for the reply but I was referring to the original post. I've seen lots of original patterns. I just bought a 66 F250 Ranger for $350. It need a left fender, grill and hood (which I have) and is painted Emberglow. In 1966 I bought a new F100 Ranger in Emberglow.
Not the original post, but Gangstakr's reply in post #2? His seat covers are custom but I suspect he'll be along here sooner or later. I remember reading how he said he had the "Y" in the upholstery to signify the Y-block in the 64. Nice truck.

.
You are correct, The "Y" pattern is for the Y-Block. One my own "Subtleties"
in or on my truck. Just like my headliner, the design mimics the hood design.
