Seat/Bench Seat/Seat Help/Help ME

I need help tracking down a seat(s) for a 1990 F-150 XLT Lariat.

I have tried multiple times to find a seat cover for it but my seat has the funny head rest (short and wide). So no seat covers will fit it properly.

I need a new a seat. I don't want to get one out of the junkyard b/c I don't want insects or pest in my truck. I really want a new one but my budget it about 150 for either a new bench seat or bucket seats. I really want to stay true to the truck but if I need to use bucket seats then I will.

and Yes I WILL get one out of the junk yard but only as a last resort.

Please me out, I've been lookin for 3+ months now.

Look on Craigslist or kijiji locally, you can get it before it gets weathered.

Whats wrong with junkyard seats? I took this bench out of a junkyard:

And a couple hours of cleaning and a run through the washing machine, it looked like this and smelled fresh and clean:

Pull your seat out and take to a local upholstery shop.. Then you won't have to fool with a stinky/bug infested junk yard seat, but your wallet won't ever smell the same either!!!!

I did and I was quoted at $500 for everything. I don't have the extra money for it.

I opted to trash my bench seat, because there is a monster behind it that eats things, and instead mounted Mustang bucket seats with very little effort.

The cheapest and best seatcover I have found is a saddleman, AKA ELEGANT USA seat cover. I got mine from autopartswarehouse.com for $90 about 3 months ago. they run coupons and discounts. They're made in the usa,(bunch of colors to choose from) have a vinyl console cover, and center. I love mine to death.

Some hate red, I tend to love it, grew up riding thousands of miles in an 89 dually with basically the same interior. I had just found a mint condition bench seat with the center console, and got the cover to keep it that way.

Where are you?? I'll give you my seats. They will need the "saddleman" treatment, but the price is right.
2 buckets and a console - blue
