Another Vacuum/Emission help thread...sorry

Have a numbers correct, 1977 F-100 Custom with a 302, 2BBL, MT, Power nothing, and no A/C. Apparently, this truck doesn't exist. I have read tons of threads on the Vacuum and/or Emission schematics and diagrams. None match my truck. I have looked everywhere. I am restoring the truck back to as close to factory correct as possible. I am replacing all the emission lines and hardware and vacuum lines but I cannot, for the life of me, figure where some of these go. The air cleaner temp sensor...? Charcoal Canister...? I've got most and I took a thousand pictures before removing but the engine was removed. Any help would be awesome.

Yeah, I figured that but it was not legible when I started this process. So, It was ground off when I repainted it. I will go back through the pics again just to be sure. Is there no way without knowing that number?

Truck was in North Carolina for most of its life and did have it check up there but I live in Georgia...we do not have emission laws and do not require to get it checked.

What are you looking to do ? Have it be all original ? If so get the vin # off the top of the passenger side frame rail between the shock mount and the cab .. This is to verify the motor is original to the frame .. If your looking to just have it running well with what you have that can be approached differently ..

Going back all original....pic is where I am at. It is Numbers Matching. I've know the truck since new. My uncle bought it new.

It is matching Numbers. I can get that when I get home this afternoon. I am restoring it all original. Here is where I am on it so you know how I'm going back with it.

No such thing as numbers matching on a FoMoCo vehicle except Shelby's. Numbers matching is a GM thing.

Thanks, I have figured out most of the vacuum system. I just can't figure where the line from the Vapor Canister goes. The tank vapor goes to the Charcoal box but it has a return that goes to the engine somewhere. My truck did not come with a Purge valve so that line has to go to the carb at some point to burn of that vapor. I have a plugged vacuum port on the back side of the choke, where the hard line comes from the exhaust manifold. What goes there? Would the vapor canister line go there?

Post 8: Look at the pic of the air cleaner for the 9D692 elbow.

A corrugated paper hose (not shown in pic) fit onto the nipple of the valve on the charcoal canister, then routed to this elbow on the air cleaner.

I replaced the black paper return vent with the bright silver one in my pic just behind the snorkel. I think, since my truck didn't have the purge valve from the factory, I will try to run a line from the Vapor canister to the port on the backside of the choke. My thinking is that since the choke is closed when cold and once heated, it opens, when it opens it should create a vacuum and pull the vapor from the canister and into the carb to be burned. It is the only port not being used, aside from the manifold vacuum ports, and it has to be where it went.
