I thought the '87-'91 trucks had the same awful clutch switch as the '83-'86, that funky thing on the left side of the pedal arm, rather than the switch on the pushrod.
Thats so funny- the 4 or so clicks I would hear happened in such even rhythm I thought it was normal.
The buzz sound I'm hearing/sometimes not hearing- not too worried about it, but just to clarify that the sound seems to come from in the cab and it is on as long as the wait to start light is on. Up until now I just always took it to be an auditory 'wait to start' indicator. Do our trucks have that?
I'll probably bypass the clutch switch once it becomes too much of a PIA.
The connector heating will raise the current enough to burn the fusible links. Common. The bad connector will change the action of the controller so you would here clicking as it goes into afterglow cycling , thinking it has cycled properly. The clutch switch is a pain. No more to say about that.
