2 inch Leveling Kit

I have a 1996 2wd F150 and I looking to level it by 2 inches. Most likely by using coil spacers. I have heard that it can cause excessive wear to the suspension. Im keeping the stock tires. Maybe something like this http://www.ebay.com/itm/140729685963?_trksid=p2060778.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
Should I be worried?

I dont think there is anything terribly wring with the spacers; however, for only a couple $$ more you could go with heavy duty springs. They would raise the truck about 1.5-2" (maybe more if your springs are sagged). I used the moog cc824 springs that were listed as the heavy duty version for my truck. They ride awesome, levelled the truck perfectly, and were only $68 shipped to my house.

The stock shocks worked fine length wise.

I haven't done the alignmeny yet as i am going to replace more steering parts. From what i can see, my tires sit as vertical as they can with minimal toe in/out. Either way you go (blocks or coils) an alignment will be in your future.

Add roughly 1.75 to 2 degrees of camber to whatever bushings are in before the kit and you'll be darn close. Once camber is set, use a tape measure to set toe. Monitor for tire wear, adjust as needed. Or find a good alignment shop and pay someone. But make sure they understand ttb front ends! I used moog cc844 springs in my 96 scsb 4x4 and only gained 1.25", added 0.5" spacer to get it where I was happy.
