cetane booster

part # pm22 1gal per 1000 gal diesel or 4 oz per 30 gal. part # pm22a 20 oz per 125 gal diesel or 4 oz per 25 gal. 1 gal 49$, 20z 8$. any ideas on the difference oz per gal of diesel

PM22 is not for ULSD vehicles. You need PM22a (or the PM23a anti-gel version) for the 6.4

parts man at evergreen ford checked with ford people, pm22 is the same as pm22a

Not according to every other reference, including the labeling on the bottles. The "a" versions were reformulated to be ULSD / DPF compatible.

PM-22-ASU is 6oz
PM-22-A is 20oz
PM-22-GAL is one gallon

PM-23-ASU is 6oz
PM-23-A is 20oz
PM-23-GAL is one gallon

All is ULSD compliant.

Looking again at my stock of 20oz bottles and gal jugs it seems the labels have changed and the part number has even dissapeared from some. Presumably here in 2014 the backward compatible ULSD compliant version is all that is being produced anyway so it probably doesn't matter. 25 vs. 31 gal dosing also probably doesn't matter since I doubt anyone is measuring and proportioning anywhere near that precisely.

thanks for your input, my white gal jug, says use with ulsd, use for all power stroke diesel.

They don't produce LSD anymore all should now be ULSD compatible. Old labels and formulas should be rotated out of stock by now......
