Had to go .02 over, had a ridge at the top of the cylinder. It was hydrolocked from the egr cooler a couple years ago and rust got it gradually.

Around a couple months. Been driving fine since. Had a head gasket leak and some recent injector issues.

Here is an update on it. We should be dropping the cab in the morning. We have a couple unrelated things to deal with on the truck also tho. Should be done tomorrow tho.


We have been fine tuning the infrastructure that we need to expedite this caliber of repair,,, I'm fairly proud of BOTH the job itself,, and the time frame. What do you all think???
