Thanks,
The police were there less than 5 minutes, pretty impressed. But then I told him that I tried not to touch anything for the sake of finger printing. His response was "unfortunately that only happens in the movies"

Sad isn't it?
Glad it's cheap replacement...it cost me $325 January 2010.
sorry for your bad luck, karma will catchup with them suckers.
I had a bad experiance in texas, my kid puked in her baby seat, so i took it out of the vehicle to dry after dumping a gallon of water to wash the puke out, put it under the back of the car. came out of the houston zoo and some scumbag had stole it! can you believe it, a used puked on baby seat stole!!!
bet he was real proud of himself. since i had to drive a few miles to get a new seat at a walmart endangering my kids life because of his greed, anyhow i hope whoever stole it gets ran of and killed.
It is, I emailed that guy and asked him if he is coming through NC any time soon. He has family in SC and goes quite often but not in a vehicle that could carry it.
I have family in Columbia MD, which is about 30 minutes from him, and we used to go up there for Thanksgiving, but not this year.
I had Safelite put it in yesterday, $278.06 and 2.5 hrs.
It looks good, alot better than the black plastic and duct tape.

I was on another forum (Isuzu related) that had a parts transfer section where people going on road trips could offer to transport heavy/large/awkward items.
Maybe something like that can be arranged here.
Basically, I drive from Occoquan, VA to Glen Burnie, MD. I snap a few pics of the item and send them to BeachEx.
If he digs it, I pay for it and bring it down I-95 and meet up with him in Emporia, VA or something... Or if it needs to go more inland, I bring it to my In-Laws house in Staunton, VA where I meet up with Apocalypse who hands me money, then takes it down I-81 to the NC Border.
In the end, BeachEx pays the deliverer for the part and nobody's out anything.
