I had to drive to Va again, jumped in the trusty Powerstroke and motored on down the road.Truck was running great and the old lye-o-meter said I'm getting 22.8 miles to the gallon. All is good right? Livewire shows no changes from the normal readings and getting great miles with my usual additives in the tank and on winter fuel. Went to change the radio station and noticed that the injectors are a lot louder than normal which means I can hear them at highway speeds. I'm willing the bet that I have a fuel pressure issue but can't tell because I don't have a fuel gauge mounted in the truck and the one sitting at home does me no good in the tool box. I'll change out the filters and ck the blue spring for junk and get it home hopefully not distroying my injectors on the way ..........time to buy some live gauges for the truck.Lessons learned are like bridges burned, you need only to cross them once.
I'm going to try the glow sieres Max tow in white. I'm going with boost, pyro fuel and cookant pressure. I'm using the low fuek pressure gauge for coolant pressure so I know if a egr or headgasket goes while I'm towing as that stuff is all orginal. In my opinion, issipro is the best quality out there but not in the budget
What is a good quality brand gauge? I am wanting to install Pyro lpo and fuel pressure on a piller.
I used Isspro for oil and fuel pressure, not the cheapest but they are accurate. They have a programmable low pressure warning light in face also. My egt runs through an Edge CS.
I personally like the Dashboss set up. No need for permanently installed pillars and it's wireless. Easy to take with you if you want to use it on another vehicle with OBD2. Or if you buy another truck all you need to do is purchase new sending units for EGT and Fuel Pressure and the DB is good to go.
Off topic, but since you did mention it I really have to ask... You're getting 22.8 with a F250 4x4? What am I doing wrong?

I agree, but I've been thru so many sensors I gave up.
