so I went to dealership to look at 08 expeditions and both had leaking coolant lines dripping coolant on the passenger side plugs... looks like an easy fix but anyone have a clue why these seem to go bad? 08 isn't that old... I wonder why they use plastic tubes and not rubber hoses? thanks....
we are getting one looked at by mechanic... anything specifically to look at? if it checks out it looks like I'll be joining the brotherhood of expy owners.

 

I think its pretty common. Mine leaked at the T. Pretty easy fix. The hardest part for me was getting the old one off.

 

Did you find the new part longer than the old?
did you remove the extension?
I have to do this and I dont know yet how Im getting at the extension to remove it.
