what am I missing...

replacing the radiator, thermostats, o rings on the coolant hoses, deleting both EGR coolers...am I missing anything else? was thinking about coolant filter but not sure why I would need it with the EGR's gone....also is one brand better than the other for EGR delete kits they all look pretty much the same....truck is 2008 F250 Job 1 6.4 with 93000 miles...thanks

If your going that far why not delete the EGR valve thats about the only thing i see missing.

As for the coolant filter i would still recommend it, i have already done what your planning and after i installed a coolant by pass filter i was surprised how much crap it picked-up. I'll see if i can find the photos i thought i posted them here but ill look around.

ok so it would need the upper intake piece where it eliminates the EGR valve hole...I see there are some on ebay fairly reasonable...does it really matter if they are aluminum or stainless? and Im pretty sure Im just going to do the coolant filter...seems like a little now may save alot later...and one more question some EGR kits come with two block off plates and some kits come with one? whats the diff...just want to make sure I have all the right parts here when I start tearing into this deal..looking at a Rudys diesel kit on Ebay with the intake elbow and one block off plate and two plugs...Thanks

I don't think the material matters. I did a sinister diesel EGR delete kit that had the pipe. At that time the pipe was stainless plain cooler not the blue cooler then have now. You will want to make sure your aftermarket tuning supports removal of the EGR valve or you will have CEL light no cruise control and several other issues.
