Hi. I have a 2012 f250. I installed my exhaust and minimaxx a couple of weeks ago with everything going smoothly and truck running excellent. I waited til a good weekend to install my egr delete, during the process I unplugged the batteries and PCM. While trying to install the exhaust manifold block off plate(sinister egr delete kit btw) I broke off the head of a bolt. I didn't have the proper equipment to remove it so I had a local shop remove the bolt and finish the last bit of the delete. when I got my truck back everything seemed to be fine but after driving it a while I noticed the trans temp on the minimaxx shot up to 230. While oil temp and coolant both were around 200. At the same time my gauges on my dash were reading normal temps and weren't matching the temps the minimaxx was showing. I returned to the same shop a day later to show them what was going on. With the truck off the trans temp was 195 in the parking lot, the mechanic hooked up his computer and his showed trans temp at 173. I contacted H&S cause I thought the programmer was faulty. When they finally got back with me they said they were sure it was not their firmware but most likely hardware. Does anyone have an idea what could possibly be the issue here? I'm no expert when it comes to this but would like to get this problem figured out. Also the truck has only 10k miles.
